Jerry Rudolfo (Sandia)

Jon Bone (Los Alamos)

What a way to introduce you two (even though you met at the Private Switch Owners meeting).  Anyway, you really got us thinking on how we could provide training (5ESS) that could fit the Private Switch Owners.  You have some unique circumstances that we have to be creative to care for and I think we have a plan.  Let me know if you think this would be acceptable.

The major premise is that the purchasing Private Switch Owners would own this training after it is developed.

INITIAL DEVELOPMENT and PRESENTATION

  1. Each course consists of two separate costs: Development and Presentation

  1. If there are a number of Private Switch Owners purchasing a course, the Development cost will be divided among the companies purchasing the course.

  1. The initial Presentation cost will be a set fee divided among the students attending the course.  (Maximum number of students per course is 12)

  1. The Instructor Travel Expense will be divided among the students attending the course.

SUBSEQUENT PRESENTATIONS

  1. Future Presentations of the course will be offered at a reduced rate, which will be the initial Presentation fee.  This fee will, as before, be divided by the number of students attending the course.  (The more students attending, the lower the cost per student.)  (Again, the maximum number of students per session is 12)

  1. The Instructor Travel Expense will be divided among the students attending the course.

  1. If, at a Future Presentation, there is a company who was not initially involved in paying for the development of the course, that company will have to pay a development fee equal to whatever each original company paid for the development, plus the normal cost per student.  This development fee would be deducted from the total cost of the subsequent presentation, which would in turn, bring down the cost per student for that subsequent presentation.

Let me know your opinion of this.

Thanks
